Transparent Storage Policy

Cookie Policy

iEditPDF is built with a zero-tracking philosophy. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

1. What Are Cookies & Local Storage?

Cookies and browser local storage (like localStorage and IndexedDB) are small data structures stored directly in your web browser by websites you visit to remember preferences or enable offline capabilities.

What We Use (Strictly Essential)
  • • Theme Preference: Remembers your chosen Dark or Light mode.
  • • Privacy Vault (IndexedDB): Stores processed files locally on your device if you choose to save them.
  • • Session State: Maintains active file queue while you work in a tab.
What We NEVER Use
  • • No third-party advertising cookies.
  • • No cross-site tracking pixels or fingerprinting scripts.
  • • No selling of browsing history to data brokers.

2. How to Clear Local Storage

You can clear all local storage and cached browser data anytime by clicking "Clear Vault" inside the Privacy Vault drawer, or by accessing your browser settings:

  • Chrome/Edge: Settings > Privacy and Security > Clear browsing data.
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data.
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data.
